Family Sponsored Visa Australia
Australia wants families to live together. As such, family sponsored visas are very effective strategies for uniting all family members together in Australia (whole-of-family) migration.
There are several family-sponsored visa options including:
- Parent Visas
- Partner Visa
- Student Guardian Visas
- Remaining Relative Visas
- Child Visas; and
- Carer Visas.
Examples include
- 888 business visa holders sponsoring their parents to apply for the Contributory Aged Parent visa 864
- Parents being sponsored to live Australia by their children who first came to Australia to study and subsequently became permanent residents under the 482-186 or 491-191 visa pathways
- Aunts sponsoring their nieces under the Student Guardian Visa 590 and that child studying and later applying for the 482- 186 visa pathway, perhaps in a family business
At JADE VISA, we have proven strategies for your “whole-of-family” migration goals.

Visitor Visa to Australia
JADE VISA helps clients to get the right visitor visa for your visit to Australia. There are various streams to choose from, including:
- Tourist Stream
- Business Visitor Visa Stream
- Family Sponsored Stream
When you are granted the visitor visa it will have the length of stay for each trip and the duration of the visitor visa. In some cases, the visitor visa will be granted for 3 years with multiple entries and for 3 months stay per visit to Australia. In other cases, there may only be 1 stay allowed, but for 12 months duration.
The visitor visa will typically come with restrictions preventing you from long periods of study, preventing you from working in a paid job and preventing you from applying for other visas when you come to Australia.
If you wish to undertake some limited work activities or you wish to undertake a short study course whilst in Australia then the visitor visa may not be the best visa option.
Contact our Visitor and Tourist Visa Lawyers and Tourist Visa Agents for any assistance with your visitor visa application or other more suitable visa that does allow you to work in Australia.
